Barcelona has added defender Yerry Mina to their defence strength from Palmeiras for €11.8 million.
Yerry Mina who has signed a five-and-a-half-year deal with the Spanish side requested an immediate transfer to Barcelona as confirmed by Alexandre Mattos.

Mattos said “I spoke with Mina, who says he has big dreams and that now is the time to leave,”

“Now that we know his desire, it’s time to reach an agreement with Barcelona.

“If they come to us with the figure we have asked for, Mina will go. If not, he’ll stay at Palmeiras.”

A deal was initially set up for after the World Cup, but Barcelona are now working to complete an early move for him.

“Yerry Mina now comes to Barca with the opportunity to continue developing as a footballer following his move to Europe. Without a doubt, the Colombian has the potential to make it.” Barca said.
