Akindele Olufunke Ayotunde (broadly known as Funke Akindele, considered August 24, 1976 in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria) is a Nigerian performing craftsman. She came to spotlight consequent to incorporating into understood United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) upheld sitcom; I Need to Know, which continued running from 1998 to 2002. In 2009 she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.Funke Akindele also plays the lead character in the hit TV exhibit Jenifa's Diary, close by Fisayo Ajisola, Falz, Juliana Olayode, Lolo and that is just a hint of a greater challenge. The show is a mood killer from the movie titled Jenifa.
