Is thing of joy to see official whatsapp app to bring on new feature ahead of MOD version of whatsapp such as Yo whatsapp, GB whatsapp etc. The popular messaging app lets users supports both voice and video calls, and it has been rumoured for months that WhatsApp is testing a new feature that will allow users to switch between voice calls and video calls.

As you know, on WhatsApp you need to end a voice call to make a video call. With the new feature, you can now switch from voice to video call.

The feature is only available on Android beta (v2.18.4) for now, and lets users switch between calls at the touch of a button. It's availability date to Official App is still unknown.

HOW TO SWITCH FROM VOICE TO VIDEO CALL ON WHATSAPP

If you are in the middle of a WhatsApp voice call and want to switch to a video call, you just need to tap that button to make the switch. Tapping the button will send a request to the person on the other side, asking they want to switch from voice to video.

If the offer is accepted, the call will be switched. If the offer is declined, the voice call will continue as normal.

The new WhatsApp feature was spotted on WABetaInfo, which tracks changes to the popular chat app. It said that the feature is only available to those who have signed up for the beta version of WhatsApp.
