We submitted last week and proved on us about what the people of Houston passed through in which many of us staged their timeline as # ISTANDWITHHOUSTON # or #PRAY4HOUSTON#...we showed sympathy bearing in mind that these people have the best drainage and channel system but it still came upon them.....without their notice,,,,,read...
“ WE REMEMBER THEM
It is not lost on us about the flooding saga that befall the beautiful city of Houston Texas USA.....a situation that put America on its toes to salvage the situation....sincerely we feel their plight....and God was with them....
It is not also lost on us that America who has a sophisticated and well articulated, planned drainage system should also meet such fate, that will go along way to tell us that things might befall or come upon us unexpectedly.....even when we try our best and do our such...we can't still not tell what time and tides holds....is all upon GOD.....
such situation generated worldwide sympathies and condolences to many who temporary lost their homes to the natural disaster....
It is not lost on us that each government tries to do its best to douse tension, raise hopes and also is not lost on us that the unexpected might happen despite our works
we still remember and feel their pains....people of Houston....”
Not going far the people of Lekki also witnessed such devastating effect of flood despite the plan adopted in such areas....the lekki-ajah road was flooded and those living around the Island witnessed the effect in full....is not lost on us on how the people suffered and we're temporary displaced from their homes and during that period we sympathise with them....Pray for lekki...but one thing is certain no one can plan ahead of God because he knows what will be and what will not be.....if it is on human power those calamities would have been averted....
But what baffles us is the case of IMO state that is not equal upto the case of HOUSTON TEXAS USA let alone that of LEKKI of lagos state.....is the way people is carrying out media propaganda of campaign of pain and calumny against the person of His excellency, Gov Okorocha....
there was a downpour and a street was flooded with water that is meant to dry for a period of time, people now turn it to a campaign aginst the governor....
Can someone tell me a state in Nigeria that the the area is not flooded after a heavy downpour.....? I need an answer....
The case of street of IMO flood is not even up to 4.5% of what happened in lekki and TEXAS and people are here compounding the issue as if it was a natural disaster....
This is hypocritical of the highest order. you sympathise with USA and LAGOS state but turn it to campaign for IMO state all because of 2019 and their devilish agenda.......is shameful and appalling......
is this how we will succeed in Nigeria because of our ambition and we target an issue that is not equal to a disaster.....
Those living in a glass house should not throw stones at others.....be guided accordingly....
IMO must be better.....
below is a few pictures of what happned in Lekki and Houston
Is the flood Being circulated on media about Imo state equal to this Lekki flood issue.......or that of Houston.....
the answer is simply No.........let's us learn to get our priorities right and channel our energy for the good of Imo state and not for its destruction......
Remain blessed....
