Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel has approved a slash down in Ticket prices as Akwa Ibom based team and winners of last year’s AITEO Cup take on Enugu Rangers in their first competitive game of the 2018/19 NPFL Season.

Speaking on behalf of the Governor in Uyo yesterday, the Commissioner of Youths and Sports, Sir Monday Ebong Uko told the media that Tickets prices for today’s game had been slashed and employed fans of the home club to come out en – masse.

“We know it is match-of-the-week, we know it involves two of the biggest teams in the Nigeria professional league today, yet we are inviting Akwa Ibomites and lovers of football in the neighbour hood to turn-out en mass to watch the match for next to nothing,” the Commissioner revealed.
