President of the United states of America Donald Trump has recently come under sever criticism for labeling Africa and other poverty stricken countries in the world a ” shithole”. The world’s most powerful leader in a meeting asked why the USA would allow immigrants from shit hole countries like Haiti, El Salvador and African countries but not Norway. Many African Leaders have gone crazy over his remarks branding it “foul and offensive”

Cyril Ramaphosa,South Africa’s deputy President and newly elected leader and the newly elected leader of the governing African National Congress called the statement ” derogatory and hugely offensive “. Nigeria’s foreign Minister, Goeffrey Onyeama also summoned the american diplomats to explain Mr Trump’s remarks calling it “deeply offensive and unacceptable” While some countries have been silent saying that their country name were not mentioned specifically so they will not start a brawl over it. Some Africans have made humor out of it with funny tweets and opinions ” Just tweeting from my South Shithole” a South African joked While a Nigerian Cleric has advised African leaders to look into Trump’s comments as truth and in the best interest of Africa and not ignore the need to make Africa better.On a more sincere note it is surprising that Africans are surprised that Mr Trump will make such a remark giving his campaign speeches where he slammed African leaders ” Turning their people into slaves, promoting corruption and having an insatiable desire for wealth and Power” the billionaire said. He went further saying “Africa should be recolonized again because their people are still under slavery”



Trump in another campaign speech blasted Africa and accused them of having bad leaders who rob them blind and even with all they have they still import common commodities like matches Trump remarked. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that the US President will speak in such a brutal way now knowing that before he became President he spoke harshly not minding if it will jeopardize his chances of being elected and now he is in Power how much more could he say. While Trumps remarks are hurting, I think the issue is not with the truth in the remark but the pedigree of the man who said it and its political implications. The United states have been largely involved in African matters fighting terrorism and helping in the removal of greedy leaders. But if Trump’s statement comes as a hurt then our leaders feeling bad about the truth is worse because they are the very architects of Trump’s assertion. It is no secret that African leaders are the worst in the world. The typical African leaders goes into government to steal from his own people and satisfy his greedy lust for power. We have seen African leaders who are far richer than their countries. We have seen African leaders whose children live in luxury overseas while her people cannot afford to have good water, talk more of good education and roads. We saw with the Ebola case how handicapped Africa is without the Western world. The typical African leader does not want to live power even after tasting it beyond the stipulated term. At the expiration of her tenure they bribe the legislature and try to amend the constitution to favor their selfish goals. The African leader is a cynic and what of her people they are ignorant and foolish because they feed the leaders with the very support they need to ruin themselves. It is painful to say that Africa has the worst educational system, that makes her good students look like average students. We have witnessed a lot of African students go off to the UK, the USA and other countries with a high academic standard and perform wonders. We have seen a lot of them work as Doctors, engineers and bankers in foreign countries and do excellently in their jobs. The typical African child dreams of going abroad as one of his fantasies because

Sorry to say but African leaders have no sense.I don't agree with trump and I feel he ought not to have said such especially for the fact that he is a world leader.What African leaders should be doing is to prove his statement wrong and not behave like clueless people because it is the way we presented ourselves that is why we were rubbished like this.If they are offended they should prove him wrong.
