The Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong, has stated that herdsmen have killed about 14,000 people from both Plateau and Benue states in recent times.

Lalong said this on Tuesday during a condolence visit to his counterpart in Benue State, Governor Samuel Ortom, at the Government House, Makurdi.

Lalong, who was represented by the Plateau State Commissioner for Town Planning, Mr Festus Fwanter, led about 30 persons from Plateau to Benue State, including members of the Plateau State Elders Forum.

Lalong said, “We are both the food basket of the nation and we have both lost over 7,000 people each to herdsmen attacks, as what happened in Guma, Logo and other parts of Benue State is also happening in Bassa, Jos North and Jos South of Plateau State; and still happening till date.’

“Plateau and Benue should set aside all our differences to find a lasting solution to these killings.”

Ortom, who commended the government of Plateau State for the visit and stated that Plateau, Nasarawa and Benue states had challenges that bound them together. They include poverty, underdevelopment and insecurity.

He added that anything that affected one state had affected all the three states, stressing that the challenges were beyond them.

Federal Government is seeking to create Fulani colonies across the country. The same colonies the Fulani immigrants who migrated from Senegambia to present day northern Nigeria use to colonized the Hausa people.

Usman dan Fodio set up the first Sokoto Caliphate and make himself the sultan, he uses cattle grassing across the Hausa dominate northern Nigeria.

After they gather foot soldiers they uses jihad to overthrown all the Hausa kings and kunuri people. He went further to islamized and colonize them by setting up emirs across the northern region. Fulani population is not more than 10 Million people but all the emirs are from Fulani extraction. The fact the Hausa language is still the general accepted language tell us much that they were once immigrates. after settlement they adopted the location language before raising war against the host community.

Should we allow them to create Fulani colonies in the south? The middle belt killing is political and a justification to create Fulani colonies.

Have you even asked yourself what is the meaning of colonies?

Meaning Of Colonies.. (at Least This Should Ring A Bell To All Nigerians)

colonies
noun

colonies is a plural word and cannot be define directly.

Firstly you cant get the actual meaning of colonies without first understanding what the singular of it is.

Example, colony is the singular word which can be define and while colonies is the plural.

colony
noun

1, Colony. A colony is a country which is controlled by a more powerful country.[/b]

( Example, this is talking about colonialism, to colonize another country or area. more like the colonial era )

2, Colony. A country or area under the full or partial political control of another country and occupied by settlers from that country..

( Example, this is talking about a siege to another country or community. forcefully conversion of land occupancy, strategic location, natural resources e.t.c without recognition of the state law or it people, only answerable to parent region. more like a colonial era )

3, Colony. A colony is a group of people who settle in a new place but keep ties to their homeland.

( Example, this one means that a government of it own is existing inside another government territory, which is not answerable to the law of the lands, but rather to another government where it came from. the state laws or community control is not applicable to them, they are totally independent and exempted from all forms of controls of the states. more like a totalitarian.)

now since we can now fathom what is colony, let check the plural which is colonies.

colonies means having more colony, and in translation it means having the colony the size of a local government across the whole 36 states.

Then you people should stop complaining and put measures on ground to not only protect lives and properties in the state ,but make sure those culpable are brought to book.
If this continues unabated, then I don't know how many of you will remain alive in that state in the near future.
It's time you people send a strong message to these rampaging killers that enough is enough.

The whole world are watching how you do that!!!
