Focus: Bringing to Perfection

WORD FOR TODAY
Irrespective of your achievements and attainments in every facet of life the fact still remains that something is still missing. You must continue to submit yourself to God to ensure that He completes the good works He began in your life!!!

"The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands." (Psalms 138:8 NKJV).

Nothing is actually complete in life; at best, we only move from a level to another. Nothing will ever be complete with us as humans because our perfection is in God and your life is a work in progress in His hands.

The Lord deals with men according to certain measure of Grace at every point in time. No matter how great your achievements in every facet of life might have been, be mindful of the fact that the best is yet to come. You still need to abide in God and continue to humble yourself before Him and men so as to allow Him to perfect that which concerns you.

Don't celebrate your achievements, problems and shortcomings; try as much as possible to present them to the merciful God in prayers in the manner the psalmist in our text did. Your life can be better than what it is at present in all aspect by His mercy. The fact that you are still living is a proof that your best is yet to come!
