|Dimensions Of 8000 Litres GP Tank by Enoedem: 9:30am On Jan 18, 2018|
Is there anyone out there who could assist me with the HEIGHT and DIAMETER of a 8,000 Litres GEE PEE Water Tank?

@ OP, below is a guide:
Volume = Area X height
V = Ah
8000 litres = 8 m3
Area = (PIXDiametreXDiametre)/4
PI = 22/7.
So measure the diametre of what you see in the market and use the above formula to calculate the required height.
As a rough guide, a 2m diametre tank requires 2.55m height to give you 8000 litres, while a 1.5m diametre pipe requires 4.52m height.
Gee Pee sells in 7500 litres and 8500 litres, though.

Thanks for your response.
In the formula, please confirm if you are saying that: Area = (Pi) times (Diameter Squared), all divided by 4?
I have assumed that the above is what you meant but using 8,500 litres as volume, I got the DIAMETER as 2.45 m or 8ft - based on actual measure of smaller tanks found in the market this seems to be wrong.
From what I have seen so far, the height of all the gee pee tank seems to be the same = 5ft 11".
So what I really need is the diameter of the 7,500 or 8500 litres.
