Members of the Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU) Ekiti State University branch are calling on all relevant stakeholders in the education sector, including its national body, to wade into the issue of their unpaid salaries and other remunerations by the Ekiti State Government.

Chairman of ASUU, Ekiti State University, Professor Olu Olu made the call at the institution on Wednesday in Ado Ekiti, the state capital while addressing newsmen on the indefinite strike action embarked upon by the union on Tuesday.

Prof. Olu Olu said that efforts made by the union to seek audience with the state Governor, Ayodele Fayose on the matter had not been fruitful.
