On Infrastructure

In preparation for the First Anniversary of Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN a Project Inspection Team was constituted led by Mr Governor to inspect and assess the level of work done in the various contracts awarded, particularly roads across the State.

The following projects were visited :

1. Rehabilitation of a failed bridge on Igbokoda /Igbonla Road in Ilaje Local Government Area of the State.

2. Ayeka /Irele Road (Contract Design changed from asphalt laying to Concrete because of the terrain)

3. Jubilee Ugbe Junction, Ikare 2.400 KM. (Oke Alabojuto which has been obstructing construction in Ikare Town has been brought down.

4. Construction of Selected Roads in Idanre 3KM

5. Construction of selected Roads in Ifon Town 2.148

6. Construction of Oke Alafia Road in Supare Akoko Southwest Local Government Area of the State 1.5 KM

7. Construction of Imanran Lane in Owo Town and other selected Roads in Owo.

8.Construction of 1.2 KM Abusoro Road, Ijoka, Akure South Local Government Area of the State.

9. Construction of Road Networks of Iwalewa l & ll Ijoka, Akure South Local Government Area of the State

10. Rehabilitation of failed portions along Iwaro / Oke Oka / Ekpimi -Isua /Abuja road. This road is notorious for causing incessant fatal accidents because it has deep pits by both sides. The State Government is putting protection by both sides to prevent accident.

Apology: The Inspection Team couldn't get to the 2.3 KM Sabomi road yesterday because it was getting too dark.

Let me humbly inform you that many of these projects will be completed and commissioned to mark our First Anniversary.

For us in Ondo State, it's one year of laying solid foundations !
