Nigeria’s Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Kpotum Idris has appointed Fatai Owoseni as the new Commissioner of Police, Benue State Police Command.

Owoseni’s appointment is coming months after he was replaced as the Lagos State Commissioner of Police by Edgal Imohimi.

The former Lagos CP will replace Bashir Makama as the Commissioner of Police, Benue State command.

The development is coming weeks after herdsmen attacked communities in Guma and Logo local government areas of the state between Monday, January 1 and Tuesday, January 2, the attack in its wake left seventy-three (73) people dead.

On the few occasion you attempt to be reasonable, you find it difficult to sustained the tempo till the end. No show from Buhari but you are seeing his action. Is that not a good starting point

While Owoseni was in Lasgidi there were cases of Badoo Cult Group right under his nose.
I do not seek to detract his credibility, he's a fine officer of the law.

My point is that even if we bring in Jack Bauer as CP as long as as we allow open grazing, the killing is just the beginning.
