Kudos to LASEMA for a job well done for rescuing a woman trapped in the mud at 3rd mainland bridge. I'm in awe of how swiftly you responded but your update on facebook does not tell the whole story.
What is pathetic about their report of the incident is their inability to acknowledge the effort of a man (Tayelolu Fijabi 07011451616), who is not a member of their staffs but a vulcanizer who willingly took it upon himself to rescue the woman.
By acknowledgement, I'm not in anyway referring to financial reward but he should at least be recognized for his act.
He was lowered into the mud without any gadget for protection when nobody was willing to offer such sacrifice. We appreciate LASEMA for all necessary equipments they provided, why can't they appreciate this man for all he did in their report?
