Edo has really be lucky with some of the best governors Nigeria has ever had, from Ogbemudia, Ali, Ishomole and now Obaseki. Imagine Obaseki having the same resources and budget as Delta state, even without such resources as Aķwa Ibom, Delta, Cross Rivers, Rivers and some other states, he has pledged to make Edo GDP number 2 or 3 in the next 8 years, Edo is currently number 5 in the country. There is no way Delta will not be positively affected by the good governance in Edo state. The PDP government will either have to buckle up or be taken over by APC. Edo/Delta people are practically the same so what affects one must surely reverberate in the other. You only have to marvel at what Bendel would have become by now with the plans it's founding fathers had if the country had have consistent good leadership. |

Balkan: No no Don't go that way ok. I have saud stop insulting people when you have no done your homework well pls grow up. What about Imo state? as a matter of fact their governor is the most die hard apc supporter. No other party can win imo in as much okorocha still breathing. So when you want to start name calling first check yourself. As per Afonja you love mention I have said it a lot here apc is their project, apc is their invention so if they invest all their lives in it good for them I can not hate them for that it's their choice because it belong to them it's just unfortunate the North hijacked it from them. |

Poor Omosede Igbinedion, she must really be feeling lonely in PDP, how long can she still hold out? If she must survive politically behold 2019, she must jump ship now. Obaseki's achievement is going to sweep away the remnant of PDP from Edo state in 2019, though no much can be said about APC at the national level. |

Its a disaster for PDP, instead of her growing her members in various state, rather it keep losing members also especially national assembly members. I think most members of PDP have seen that the party has nothing to offer in 2019, hence this continues defection across states of the federation. |

Gangster paradise. All they think about and celebrating is just how to loot the system dry and leave poor people in even more agony. Same poor people that will each gladly sell their votes to the looters for a kilo of thai rice. It is a vicious circle of doom. |

It will take time before APC sweeps Delta state. Yes Obaseki is trying in Edo state, his innovative ideas on how governance should be is nice and Edos are really supporting him because we want to catch up with states like Lagos and Ogun in terms of IGR and development. You see as a product of both Edo/Delta state having lived in Both for more than 10 years each i can tell you Delta ain't ready for that apc shit. Now we have more deltans living in Edo state than we have the edos living in delta maybe because of the whole Bendel ideology wayback. Sorry to say but Delta politics is the heavy money politics introduce by James Ibori thanks to the Oil funds. So in Delta state, they are accrued to wastage of funds because they haven't fixed the right leaders in the right places. Edo state on the other hand doesn't have much money to spare that's why we shout over any little amount of money we smell is being wasted compared to our sister state. In Delta, they do things big, spend big...until they get their mind of this whole oil saga, they will still continue to experience some difficulties in governance. 1 Like |
