But why everything dark like Ghana?

Who do we have to blame for that?

Y'know, that's a great question!

Even the "re-brander" is being battled by a hostile, unforgiving system.

It's like, nobody can survive doing innovative stuff in this country.

TSTV comes to mind.....

The entire infrastructure if configured to stifle innovation. The 'anti-growth' corporate hostility complex that we have in place almost always guarantees that a Nigerian start-up innovator would, most times, have to battle several other unseen odds than his counterparts in other countries.

Yet, we see leaders and polithiefcians carrying away stupendous figures that cold possibly change the lives of entire generations.

Nigerians were never stranded for ideas, the hostile environment just dulls everything. That's why i am never surprised to see our "nominal performance level" folks crossing over to US, UK etc to become overnight superstars!

Not that rugged (1.8l)....

Engine size does not determine the ruggedness of an automobile. If it did, the Bugattis and Ferraris would be the most rugged vehicles

Really nice and very affordable. But I don't like the fact that it's a range/land Rover copy. Why can't we just come up with our own designs?

The original Land Rover that conquered the off roading world came with a 1.6L engine
Torque is what matters most in off-road vehicles. 1.8L is adequate enough for a 2-seater off roader if equipped with a transmission having the proper gear ratios.
Remember the Lada Niva?
This vehicle is designed and built for African roads, and not necessarily climbing mountains. It doesn’t even qualify to be called an off road vehicle as it only comes in rear wheel drive. It’s also designed to be cheap to run hence the moderate engine size. Like I said earlier, ruggedness is not determined by engine size.
One of the world’s most rugged vehicle came with a 1.5L engine...... The almighty Volkswagen Beetle
