Friends, I intend to upgrade to a new car and I need a direct tokunbo car within a budget of 1.5m or 1.6m. Toyota corrola 2005/2005 or Camry 2004/2005 in my mind. But to get a good tokunbo Corrola, one must be ready with a budget of 1.8m or 2million naira. And for Toyota Camry 2004/2005, my fear is its high cost of its engine in case the engine breaks down anytime. I currently drive Nissan Primera 1998/1999 which i bought as tokunbo in 2014 and still working perfectly with current mileage at 162k plus. The Nissan is at par with Toyota Camry 1999/2000, so those models are out of it.

Which car with the following attributes can I get within my budget?

* the car must be within 2004-2007 model
* fuel economical and affordable to maintain (parts)
* foglights and daylight on.
* back hood
* good AC
* Above all, because of the poor nature of the road of my location, I would prefer Toyota product or tough car brand.

Thanks

You might wanna consider toyota matrix. Most likely 03-04 tho. Fits well for all your specs. I don't know why you're scared of Big daddy, the car was everywhere last year and you know for sure that means the parts are now gonna be everywhere.

And I'm not even saying this cos I have one toks V4 04 big daddy that can still go for 1.6m.

I can help get you something truly suitable. Let's chat. 07039787010.

Go for the 2005 Toyota Corolla for several reasons;

- fuel efficient
- low maintenance costs
- very practical for everyday use
- good resale value when you eventually want to sell it

Demerits include;
- almost everyone wants one so it’s a big target for theives and car snatchers
- initial buying cost will be a bit more than hondas

Hope this helps
