Newly-installed Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yoruba land, Gani Adams on Sunday revealed how a top pastor the Celestial Church of Christ predicted his emergence as the 15th Aare.


Speaking at a special thanksgiving service in Lagos to mark his successful installation as Aare Ona Kakanfo, he also disclosed that twenty-five people jostled for the exalted position.

Aare Adams also said that he was by far the least richest of all the people that contested and described his emergence as “an imposition on all of them by the Almighty God”.

He also used the occasion, which took place at the Genesis parish of the Celestial Church, Alakuko to reiterate his commitment to the development of the Yoruba cultural values and identities.

Adams said “Pastor Dele Ogundipe predicted my emergence as the Aare Ona kakanfo of Yoruba land. That is one of the reasons I respect him as a man of God.”
