ATIKU AND HIS REAL SUPPORTERS ARE NOT THREATENING TO DUMP PDP: DISCARD ALL MISLEADING PUBLICATIONS:

This is to debunk the publication on some dailies and social media that the supporters of His Excellency Atiku Abubakar threatened to dump PDP if he fails to secure the presidential ticket.

1. For clarity, there is no where either directly, indirectly or through body language that His Excellency ever indicated that his return to PDP is only tied to the presidential ticket. Neither has he said that he is only coming to PDP to leave immediately. So, whoever is expecting him to leave immediately should reconsider his stand.

2. His Excellency is a man that believes and upholds democratic processes and we all know that the issue of the presidential ticket will be decided by the party delegates and we trust the party leadership to ensure that the presidential primary election will be free, fair and transparent.

3. We are also part of Atiku Support Groups and all Support Groups are putting in their best to ensure that our principal secures the presidential ticket with landslide victory. And we are sure of victory considering how far we have gone and what we have put in place to still do.

4. There are so many support groups that are willingly working for His Excellency based on their belief in his ability to give Nigerians the kind of governance that will enhance peace, religious tolerance, economic growth, job creation, youth inclusiveness and other dividends of democracy, including but not limited to restructuring (as we all know that he is an advocate of restructuring). And since members of those groups have the civic right to choose whoever they want to support, no one has stopped them and nobody will stop them, provided that their activities are not injurious to the country, the party (PDP) and His Excellency.

However, every group and or their leaders are advised to take proper heed to their statements and activities anywhere to avoid a situation of misrepresentation.

5. Conclusively, we want to reassert that neither His Excellency, nor his real supporters have any plan to dump the PDP after the presidential primary. And we also want to assure all supporters of His Excellency Atiku Abubakar that we will leave no stone unturned to ensure landslide victory both at the PDP presidential primary and the presidential election in Nigeria.

Out of desperation Atiku finished his political career by decamping to PDP. He should have contacted like minds and form another political party and use it as basis for negotiation.

But he didn't dump apc when buhari won the apc primaries in 2014. He stood firm and supported buhari. He left apc only a few months ago after realizing that buhari/apc are on a self-destruct!

Coming back to PDP is a very smart move. Time will tell. He mustn't be candidate for the move to be perfect buhari only has to be defeated while PDP regains momentum. That is patriotic of a democrat like Atiku.

No candidate is capable of wresting power from APC Apart from ATIKU..
If u make the mistake of voting for another candidate that is not popular among core Muslims up North, we shall likely have Buhari ruling us again and u know the implications: More nepotism, bloodshed, ethnic cleansing and total colonization by Fulani..
Let's better accept the lesser evil now!!!
