In a bold move by the Snapchat company and in a desperate move to keep their users, the company has announced that as from Wednesday, it will roll out a new feature which will allow Snapchat users to be able to share their stories on other social media apps. This is needed to prevent their users from crossing over to Instagram.

Story posts will now be easily shareable on Facebook and Twitter provided users have their accounts linked together and can then be viewed directly from these platforms. Users will also be able to send a link via email or text to someone who is not on either platform such that they can view the stories through a link on a web browser. The feature will be available to users in the coming weeks.
