Like Jonathan, like Buhari. If there is no sovereign to protect lives, how do you enjoy rights? How do you build civilisation? His administration sounds more and more like a Fulani/herdsmen presidency rather than a Nigerian presidency . Everyone has something to say about obasanjo's letter to Mr President recently I have heard a lot of criticisms, why should he say that, why now, it's his usual political style, etc All of that aside was there any truth in what was written? Did you honestly find yourself nodding or shouting yes! Or like me did it give you the chills as you read teary eyed the sad summary of the last four years in this country. What is important is that at any level you tell yourself the truth most nations had to learn this art through blood through pain and hunger. But we are a special breed we always want to colour truth, bury it,silence it, kill it what we haven't learned sadly is truth can't be coloured,or silenced or killed or buried it will always come back back Full Circle! You should not wait till you have lived a "full life" to speak the truth without fear or favour! That's what makes great leaders and a great nation! Nigeria does not need SOMEONE new, we need SOMETHING new. The presidential system is not meant, and cannot be suitable for a heterogeneous state like Nigeria cos it relies heavily on PATRIOTISM to be successful(think about it; an individual with absolute power, and with the majority of those who are to checkmate his powers being in same party as him) Apart from the renowned patriotic giants- America, use your Google to check which other first world country that practises the presidential system. In the whole of Europe, only Cyprus has a pure presidential system like Nigeria, and as u can see they're not even anywhere close to the top successful EU nations. Presidential is mostly associated with 3rd world Asian and African countries that keep circling around year to year, India just escaped this same retrogression soon after they switched to parliamentary system where ur own people are always there to be held accountable with nobody to blame or nowhere to hide. Like him or hate him, OBJ has clearly stated the truth. In a population of over 180million people, Nigerians can't be making it seem that it only Buhari ( who is aged and needing medical attention) is the best candidate even when he has shown to be as clueless and incompetent as can be. 1. Has Buhari fought corruption? NO - Corruption is very much higher within his government. Show me one person in jail for corruption even when there has been several allegations within his govt. 2. Has Buhari bettered the economy? NO - the economy has become worse off. 3. Has Buhari created jobs? NO - there has been massive job loss. 4. Has Buhari granted security? NO - Herdsmen, kidnapping, Ritual killings has been on the increase to joined BH to make Nigeria insecure. 5.Has Buhari stopped fuel crises even after he almost doubled pump price and ended subsidy, and also hijack Petroleum Ministry to himself? NO - he has messed up the entire system and doesn't even know what to tell Nigerians amidst fuel shortages. 6. Has Buhari been able to Unite the country? NO, the country has never been this divided. 7. Has Buhari respected the Federal Character Principle -? NO. He has succeeded in appointing only his Fulani Katsina kin to all the top Security positions - The Chief of Defense Staff, the DSS, the NIA DG, the Minister of Internal Affiars . All these has given rise to suspicions of his intent. 8. Is Buhari healthy and young enough to lead Nigeria? Thats a Capital No. In a population of over 180million people, so Buhari is the best that can lead the country? NO. - there are far better candidates with more to offer.
