If you have dispute with my conclusions then you need to formally state your position and not use insult. I am seeing PMB as unworthy because of the true statements of Obasanjo's letter. Obasanjo is a war hero too, and he is chief in Yoruba tradition and that weighs highly in my spirituality. I will not criticize Obasanjo knowing that he has made credible statements, although I think that PMB deserves constructive criticism. Like what can PMB do to make Nigeria better? How can PMB use his great qualities as a general and war hero, that is respected by the Nigerian Military, work in his best interest for Nigeria? This is the level that I am on. I do not support Democracy, that is getting rid of a president every cycle to make way another politician making promises. There are 5 Kings ruling Nigeria and they are the true rulers not the politicians.

Just see how lives are being wasted daily

NO MORE OPERATION PYTHON DANCE

NO MORE OPERATION CROCODILE TEARS

NO MORE OPERATION SHOOT AT SIGHT

NO MORE OPERATION IPOB MUST DIE

God always has his way of vindicating his people (the Igbo's) in this country.

During 2015 general elections they vehemently refused this man and even warned other ethnic groups not to bring this man ( BUHARI) Onboard the governance of this country but what did they get Insults and all manner of name tagging.

Igbo's did not support GEJ because he's from south south but because they knew that out of the two options presented to Nigerians Buhari can never be the president Nigerians clamoured for.

Unfortunately the west and southwest didn't see this perhaps they where blinded on the gift of vice president
Now just look at where we have found our dear country Nigeria.

Not even the fight against corruption as being the reason most voted buhari has been fought it has even waxed stronger..our understanding on fight against corruption is very different from buhari's view for him its a fight against anyone who opposes him and or his government.

Its unfortunate to note that upon all points used by buhari to campaign against the past government to the hopes of hungry Nigerians yearning for quality leadership has met dead point.

Not naira has regained strength over the green back ( dollar) or had equalled to a dollar as promised.

Not the oil subsidy has been stopped nor its proceeds used to improve infrastructure or has any refinery build or old ones revamped.

As dumb as the government is, in the fight against insurgency the insurgents themselves have just defaced into a new movement ( the herdsmen) and had continually carried out mayhem on innocent Nigerians and the government being overwhelmed by nepotism and ethnic bigotry has refused to see that book haram which they fight had just metamorphosed into the killer herdsmen...this alone proved that our leaders in the present government are either unintelligent and clueless or just being naive and adamant. And rather they seek for land in each state across the nation so as to spread the massacre ....what a government.

Come to think of it why should the federal government seek land from states across the country when the land they seek for is not going to be used for government business purposes rather for the grazing of cattle's own by an insignificant fraction of Nigerians elites and their foot soldiers the Fulani's. Doesn't this act alone explains that there's more to this than we think??

Life of Nigerians had not improved in any way since the inception of this government.

National security has remained under a huge threat.

Even as oil price on international market continued gaining yet we keep buying oil products at exorbitant price that is if we don't get hit with scarcity of these products.

No capital project has been seen or carried out by this government so far. Poor infrastructural development.

The rate of international Borrowing has increased in buharis tenure.

Not even the restructuring which they also mentioned in their campaign points has been carried out but only to revisit that and setup a committee that would end up with unimplementable outcome and this is in a bid to deceive the people again.

Elder statesmen and even the wife of the president had noticed and also mentioned in several occasions that the government of Buhari has been hijacked by some cabals.

This government had always blamed the past administration for its failure to implement any good policy. And I ask my self if there has been no error in the system Nigerians wouldn't have voted in a new government they would rather continue with the flawless government then. So Buhari's government was only invited or rather employed by Nigerians to fix things rather than blame the past government which Nigerian already know are not good enough to fix Nigeria's problems.

Now we can all see how deceitful it is to say I BELONG TO EVERYBODY, I BELONG TO NO BODY.

sapientia:
If you want Buhari to be voted out.. Dont just get your PVC and start chanting online.

Use any available chance to talk to your friends and families. Always strike up intelligent conversations not dumb blame games, you cant win them at it.

Ask them intelligent question backed with facts.. like what inflation rate APC met in 2015 to check if there was really an achievement.

If cant make them know truth, they might be deceived by beer and pepper soup joint propagandas.

We need to let them understand that aside the fact that these men dont want to work, they are actually confused and incapable of working.

Keep doing it.. dont stop.. we time.. God willing.. we will cure as much zombies as possible.

Shalom
Probably someone in your family is getting something from this government.
We know what inflation means and have done our comparisons.... Just wait, we will disappoint you with our votes.

nairavsdollars:
Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, in this interview debunked the allegation of non-performance leveled against the Muhammadu Buhari administration. He also spoke on efforts by the government to find a lasting solution to farmers, herdsmen clashes and other issues. TEMIDAYO AKINSUYI brings the excerpts:

The four- year mandate given to this government by Nigerians is gradually coming to an end. Has your party fulfilled its electoral promises to the people?

We were very categorical that we were going to address three areas of governance: we are going to fight corruption, we are going to fight insecurity, and we are going to revamp the economy.

I can say with all sense of modesty that we can beat our chest that we have delivered in all those areas.

On the economy, a former CBN Deputy Governor, Prof. Kingsley Moghalu disagreed with your government’s claim that we have exited recession. What is your take on that?

I would rather work on the figure of the National Bureau of Statistics because their indices and parameters for the country show that we are out of recession. Even as recently as last week, the NBS came out that for the 11th month we have been able to hold down inflation, that inflation today is 15.37 per cent. This has been happening since January 2017. All indications show that not only have we exited recession, but that we are making a lot of gains in all the parameters either in the areas of foreign reserves or foreign investment or the area of inflation or job creation.

Whatever Moghalu has said would run against the current of the figures that had been produced by the NBS which is the best body today that can tell us whether we are out of recession or not. It is the same body that told us we were in recession is the same body that said we are out of recession. So far, they are yet to tell us we have slipped back to recession.

Boko Haram insurgents appear to have regrouped after some progress in that front, while Fulani herdsmen-farmers clashes also threaten the security of the nation. Are you not troubled?

Security is an issue that every nation at one point in time will have to contend with. I am happy you have acknowledged that we are making progress fighting insecurity in the country. The herdsmen-farmers clash was not invented by this government. It actually predates this government. If you go back to history, it dates back to independence. But I am assuring you that this government is determined to resolve the issue. This government is determined to take specific steps to find a definite end to this issue. It is about containment, it is about accommodation, and it is about understanding. There must be farmers; there must be herdsmen. They must live together. We are determined as a government that shedding of the blood of just one person is too much. It is not about the number; it is about the fact that we put a price on human’s life. I am glad that already things are being put in place, such as the committee headed by the Vice President to find long time solution to herdsmen-farmers clashes.

There is the claim that the attacks were not perpetrated by herdsmen but by foreign Fulani bandits. Are the security agencies so weak that they cannot fish out these bandits and stop them from entering this country?

Without going into the details, it is a very complex issue. You talked about bandits, what about the militias that were funded and sponsored by the late Ghadafi around the same area? As a government, we have resolved to find a lasting solution to it. Whether they are bandits or marauders or militias sponsored by the late Ghadafi, what is important for us as a government is to ensure that the shedding of blood whether of the farmers or herdsmen is brought to an end.

Why is fuel scarcity back? Are we also paying subsidy for fuel?

The fuel situation is much better than it was before now. As for subsidy, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources has said a lot of about subsidy. I don’t think it is possible not to pay the subsidy in the circumstance.

One of the ardent supporters of this administration, Pastor Tunde Bakare recently said that this government has failed in the three areas you mentioned earlier. How do you counter that?

We are very confident. We don’t have any apologies for our success. Our success is out there. I said earlier that there were many indices with which you can measure whether a country is improving economically or not. I am glad to say that not only have we grown our foreign reserves from $23billion to $40 billion despite the fact that for the larger part of the time oil sold for $30 per barrel.

This clearly does not indicate failure on the part of the government. Again, NBS said headline inflation has fallen for 11 consecutive months. It is now at 15.37 per cent as at December 2017. The target we set for ourselves by the ERGP for inflation has been met and surpassed. You can’t talk about failure.

We were even able to eliminate ghost workers, and that has saved us over N120 billion. We have been able to save about N108 billion from the removal of maintenance fees payable to banks pre-TSA because we pay directly. We have saved N24.7billion monthly through determined implementation of TSA.

In agriculture, we have created an extra 6.2 million jobs. From 6 million jobs two and a half years jobs, today we have about 12.2 million jobs in agricultural sector alone. How can anyone claim that we have not succeeded in creating jobs? Our strategy in the area of encouraging local production of rice has worked. From 64,000 metric tonnes a year two and half a years ago, today we import less than 20,000 metric tonnes. You can imagine the kind of saving that would bring to government. In the area of infrastructure, we also have good news. Power today is at an all high of 7000 MW, and we are also able to transmit 7000 MW. In the area of distribution, we distribute over 5000 MW today and the extra 2000 MW which we cannot distribute we are trying to get willing buyers for these MW. Still, on the infrastructure, the Lagos-Kano modern gauge is on course. We are very optimistic that by 2019 Lagos-Ibadan axis of it will be commissioned while the Kano-Kaduna modern gauge will also be ready by 2019.
