Ekiti State youth play football barefooted in the 21st century – Otunba Segun Adewale It saddens my heart to see youth in Ekiti State playing soccer barefooted in the 21st century. I have never seen a society that has neglected its youth as I have seen in Ekiti in recent months. The level of poverty and decadence occasioned by the failure of our political elites is beyond explaination. I can't imagine a youth in 2018 playing football in a community organised competition barefooted until I saw it. What is the business of our State and local authorities?
