By Musa A Bello (The Insightful Observer)

Human as a complex being has been studied throughout all ages, yet a lot about him still remains mystery. Be it behaviour, the body form or the soul. In all these, One fact still remains a universal truth; "The desire to fulfill his personal desires above the needs of others".

Self-centeredness is indisputably an innate nature of man, nonetheless many have developed the ability to suppress it's manifestation, though they are the insignificant few. Many problems plaguing humanity are mostly avertable if self-centeredness is put into check, particularly here in Nigeria and this is because self-centeredness, like a cancer spreads uncontrollably and leads to various antisocial vices such as imperialism, corruption, nepotism, tribalism, racism, bigotry and religious fanaticism. These aforementioned vices are the genesis of problems disturbing the world today, particularly Nigeria and Africa in general.

If a person understands that, his beliefs which he holds dear as the absolute truth to him might be relatively erroneous to another, he develops tolerance. Also, if a person understands that his position of power is to serve the general populace not gratifying his own personal desires and interests, then corruption will not rare it's ugly head. Furthermore, if a person understands that good character, attitude, knowledge, qualifications and other meritable qualities should be the criteria for considerations, surely corruption and nepotism will be words only in the dictionary.

Finally, the desire to benefit humanity while finding balance in one's own personal needs and interests should be a moral obligation upon all. The best of men are those who benefit humanity.

Buhary is too sick (both mentally & physically) to lead a sick nation like Nigeria.

If some of the country citizens were not sick, how could they in their right senses vote a despot, brainless and myopic individual to rule over them in this era of knowledge?

Gbam, you don talk am finish. I know some peeps will still vote for Atiku next year.

It is too late crying over spilt milk, what she and Gbenga wrote about their father had already exposed him for he truly is; no one will be fooled by this late damage control - the cat had already been let out of the bag; only wailers who represent an insignificant minority view will continue using it for their cheap propaganda to no effect.

OBJ is a spent force living in the past; his once feared power of influence and enigma is being dismantled and demystified - Nigerians are now more the wiser.

the truth is iyabo is now regretting the open letter she wrote her father years back. did she ever think of the implications then, the answer is No. Yoruba will say eyin ni ohun, ti o ba jabo ko ni se ko.( words from our mouth is like egg, when it drops it is not retractable)

Omo oko nie.

What is omo oko about a child that has already fi owo osi ju'we ile baba e. If you dishonour your parents in the public, you lose every moral right to expect anyone to respect them. Iyabo wrote a public stinker about her father, now she expects people should overlook that? Impossible! Her words about her father echo forever. Things like this are want expose people like Obasanjo for who they are, men that cannot govern a small family unit, men that raised children capable of giving them public disgrace parade themselves as men of integrity and want to adjudicate on issue of public morality.
Yoruba says "Ile la ti k'eso r'ode" - "Charity begins at home". Home is the smallest unit of human gathering, a man that fails at home has lost all the right to speak on morals in the gathering of sane people. Our society is unfortunate to have failed family men parading themselves as leaders over us. It is one of the main reason where can't make headway.

She should be in prison, long-term, instead of sending letters. When she was in ministry of health, she refused to return $10m of "unspent" money!

How can you:

1. Not spend that money when Nigerian health system is in shambles? You could build a full hospital with that amount, on European standards, or improve many hospitals across Nigeria.

2. Not return the money when asked, as if it is your own cash.

20 years behind bars, I say!
