I wouldn't know the source of this statistic, but it's definitely an informed opinion.

I was glued to the TV, Radio, Print media and Social media during and after the election so take it from me. I even created an Excel format to record all the results as Prof Jega was coaliting the results.

So...Una Like the leadership Quality of Buhari? shocked
The percentage of votes that Buhari will get in your region in 2019 compared to 5% he got in 2015 will answer your question. Thanks.

You meant to tell us that no one in your region will vote for Buhari in 2019? APC is growing in your region everyday, yet you guys kept focusing on South West, funny. Last election, Buhari got 5% in your region. In 2019, he will get 40%.
BTW: where are you getting the information concerning the bolded part? I think you are listening too much to OPC members, Afenifere and SW PDP members.

Funny enough, I am not South East. Am definitely not.

Inasmuch as other political parties present candidates from North, Buhari will still be the preferred candidate in South West. Religion apart, the Yoruba will never invest in a business that is not profitable.
Remember, the South West has strong representatives in this government, from Vice President, Finance to the senior perfect with three portfolios Fashola. The list is endless.

Buhari till 2019 until the Coalition for Movement do the needful.

We are saying the same thing. Buhari can only win if he gets the South West votes. But a lot depends on Ahmed Tinubu. What is his disposition about Buhari. And of course, what is the Southwest reaction to the Cattle Colony agenda?

The election will very likely be between APC's Buhari/Osinbajo and a Fulani/Igbo PDP ticket. So tell me, who should the south west support?

Now, that is the problem and Danger.
Nigerians have limited their options to APC and PDP. What happens if a Credible and well trusted candidate contests on a different platform, Nigerians won't vote him because he is not on the APC or PDP train?
God help us.

Even as things stand, who are you looking to put on a party primary or any ballot againt Buhari between now and February, 2019, and is likely to defeat Buhari?

Are you kidding me??
When will the North get "common sense,"?
So in a population of over 180 million educated and vibrant citizens it is a sickly 85 year old Buhari that is the most qualified and best option for Presidency?
The same person that has shown total incompetence in governance and outright lack of leadership qualities?
I didn't like Jonathan's corrupt govt, but I dare say Jonathan showed far better understanding of governance than Buhari has shown. And Jonathan surrounded himself with technocrats who had administrative competence. Buhari doesn't know jack and he has tribalistically surrounded himselves with incompetent hands who are on the driving seat of governance.
Buhari knows he is old and incompetent, so he allows his goons to take decisions. It is these goons that Aisha Buhari called " the Cabals".
It is this same Buhari that you tell me is the best candidate that no one can defeat?

Oga... Buhari cant do anything Differently If given another 4 years...why Not replace him?

So, after 2023, then what? Third Term?

There are better Nigerians everywhere. The Problem is that is this big Parties almost always Present the worse for top positions. Abeg If na KOWA bring better candidate, why Not vote for him/her?

If APC cant replace him... because they feel, He is all they have got, then it is the duty of Nigerians to Crash that Party....Vote them out!

That is Nigeria for u. Many of them are so selfish and self centered that they think of only themselves because they are being paid by this current administration... They are forgetting that they won't be there forever and their unborn children and grand children might suffer the consequences of their actions.

Tinubu can't do shiit. Reality has reset a lot of brains. Is it Tinubu that bears the burden of fuel price hike twice? What about increased food cost? What about millions of job loses? Bros, reality has done justice.

The North don't know what a better life is so They can vote Buhari.

And if Buhari wins the next election, I will give up on this country.

Buhari will win in 2019. He has killed in the past for losing election. I don't know what makes people think that he will conduct a free election.

you all should just give up and wait till 2023

How has all these improved your life as a Nigerian or is it making it worse? Your so called 'Yoruba sophistication' is an oxymoron.

I am not Yoruba and you totally misunderstood my position. Buhari with his hate speech led his supporters to kill over 800 igbo and yoruba youth corpers in 2011 post election. Just because he lost.

Do you think a man like that will easily give up power or conduct a free and fair election?

I'm not given to emotions, and I honestly wouldn't know why you feel so superior to, or what you mean by, "the north." Furthermore, I wouldn't know how you'll ever come to the conclusion Aisha would want her husband replaced by his party at this point or for the 2019 elections?

Having said that, I'm afraid you're running away from facing the real question: Who has the potential of defeating Buhari at this point in our political climate? It's not a question of whether or not we have another person out of 180 million of our people. The question is, let him/her show up or be identified and hit the ground running already! Even the now rag-tag APC took about two years as a fused party — along with the "good" fortune that the then ruling PDP had a damaging breakup — to become somewhat solid enough and come to power over an incumbent.

And here we are, (i) just one year to the next election already, (ii) the ruling party is not showing any serious signs of breaking up, and (iii) there's no viable opposition — including Mr. Obasanjo's CN — in sight, and some people are hoping for a miracle to throw forth a candidate that will defeat the APC candidate? Sorry, I honestly don't believe in such miracles.

That's the logic. Hopefully something proves it wrong for the sake of those amongst us who would consider it "poo," and who see the majority of actual voters only in themselves or their own images.

Good luck, everyone!
