For you to attain higher levels in life, there are certain requirements that you are expected to have. Taking a cue from the life of Solomon, He realized he was facing an arduous task. A task beyond his level and capacity, he simply asked God for help! If you don’t have these requirements needed for rising to a higher level, circumstances of life will mock you and embarrass your God. On the other hand, these requirements when met will glorify God and make you a blessing.

“Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people? And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing”

The first requirement for a higher life is a HIGHER WISDOM to handle higher challenges in life. This kind of wisdom comes from God, it comes from prayer! Solomon was not a fool, in fact, it was his wisdom that made David to choose him as king to succeed him but Solomon realized that this assignment needed a higher wisdom and he asked for it, God gave him!

Secondly, you will need a HIGHER ENERGY AND CAPACITY. The Lord told Elijah to eat for the journey he was about to embark on is long. If you are going to function at higher levels you will need higher energy and capacity. Lots of times, people pray for promotion but they don’t pray for the energy it requires. Promotion can become a mockery if you don’t have the energy and capacity to carry on. You will need spiritual, mental, emotional and physical capacity and energy that is higher when moving to a higher level.



PRAYER: Father, I am in dire need of the spirit of wisdom, higher energy and capacity to carry on in this race to attain higher heights in life, I receive these in Jesus’ name. Amen.
