Thank you bro. The correct ayah is Quran 5:51. The ayah asked Muslims not to take the Jews and the Christians as friends and that any Muslim that do take then as friends is part of them hence enemy of allahh and his messenger.

Islam is nether a religion of peace nor war, it is just a religion like every other religion, be practical bro, admit it there are lot of sura that awake the spirit of violence . when ISIS and BOKO HARAM commit any violence act, a valid quraan scripture and hadith is quote to back it up. they can not always be wrong. before Islam can be stabilized, the Muslim must agree that the quraan is subjected to error like every other religious book . this ego of GOD write it all including the punctuation mark is not intelligent enough. there are also violence act in the bible that the catholic awaken to force the Christians into war during the 10 century(crusader war) but most of the Christians move on from that side of scripture, they instead embrace and promote the peaceful side while acknowledging that indeed violence act exist in the bible.

The observations you have made on Qur'an were all wrong, Sir if you will agree with me in these things I will be mentioning you will see that Qur'an has No singular flaw.The reason for this is very simple.It's wrong for any human being to believe that the Lord of the universe makes mistakes in saying and doing things.secondly,the correct interpretations of every Surah in Qur'an had been made to all Muslims doing the lifetime of our noble prophet and the people he taught also transmitted it from one generation to another.So if anybody today wants to explain Quranic verses he must follow the chain from Allah to His prophet to the companions to the generations then to us.An example of this I said will be clear now. The correct interpretations of the verse:The word Auliyă linguistically can mean( friends,protectors,helpers etc).This word was used in the verse u are quoting so which one will someone take as a correct one this is where u need the work of God- fearing scholars to give a useful help.We are commanded to marry from the people of the books(Jews and Christians)your food we can eat, we are commanded by our noble prophet to give YOU neighbourhood rights and so on brother.
