Check Out the Dilapidated and poor condition Of Government Girls Secondary School Ahoada, Rivers State.

Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS) Ahoada was one of the best and recognized girls school in Rivers state and the only girls school in Ekpeye Kingdom.

A school known for producing great women of valor and importance, women who have traveled far and wide across the world.

HOWEVER!

A concerned Member of the Government Girls Secondary Ahoada's Old Girls Association, set of 1990.

Has called on relevant Authorities in the Ekpeye Kingdom and Rivers State for help, She wrote..

On behalf of Government Girls Secondary Ahoada's Old Girls Association.
I am writing this to plead to all the Sons/Daughters/ Politicians in Ahoada and Ekpeye to come to the Students aid and make GGSS AHOADA, the only Girls Secondary in Ekpeye a better learning environment to it's students and the teachers.

These disturbing images are buildings where students takes their lectures from Monday to Friday with no structure in place, putting the lives of all students and teachers at risk.

How can Ekpeye Politicians sit comfortably in their Homes/ Offices knowing that the only Girls Secondary in Ahoada and Ekpeye has no structure in place?
No Roof, No Windows, No Ceilings, No School Library, No Running Water, No Science Laboratory, No Home Economics Lab, No Students Canteen, Poor VIP & Principals Office, No White Boards, No decent Desk, Collapsing Blocks/Walls, No Toilet Facilities, No Computer Class etc ...

It is very appalling, disgraceful and shameful to see Ekpeye Sons/Daughters/Politicians in high positions in the State/Country and yet they overlooked what seems to be the most important needs in human lives.

May I remind us that "Education is the most powerful weapon for changing the world" Therefore, let us be the change we wish to see in our Community/ Local Government/ State/ Country and take action now!

From Blessing Uwaeme,
Year Head of GGSS AHOADA's Class of 1990.
