A Nigerian man named Olu Adegoke via his facebook page has come to say if your pastor has no day [other] job apart from being a pastor; he is a thief.

He went on to mention names of men of God in the bible who had jobs; He said Paul was a tent maker, Peter was a fisherman and Jesus was a carpenter.

Hence if Your Pastor has no day job, he is a
thief

Not when pastors have everything contributed in the church for themselves.

The early church share what they get among the members.

Everybody is not vocal about the Church and Pastors these days.....

Frustration is now an issue and it's taken out on everyone without even thinking , just the other day a lady blamed God for not delivering her from a lesbian church member so the blame was given to both GOD and Pastor too.

Keep up the good one and you will soon blame something else for your never growing life

Job said ....."Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad ? .... " Job 2:10. It's a call to the faith and your ENLIGHTENMENT will draw you off from God and you find asking where you got it all wrong.

Waking up from what exactly? Who is a sheep in this context? A fool who doesn't know the S in salvation or a tare who is awaiting when he will jump off saying 'Jesus is fake?' If he were a sheep he'll know that you can't combine Ministry with a full time Job.

He ignorantly mentioned Jesus being a Carpenter, yet failed to point out that He was only a Carpenter in the days of his preparation. From when His ministry was launched and ushered in by John the Baptist, Jesus never went back to His Carpentry shop, or did Peter the professional Fisher man went back to fishing troughs.

Why didn't Apostle Paul Continue with his Law Practice, or Luke with his medical profession, or Matthew with his Revenue collection? Why did these men drop what they knew to do best to live on and for the Gospel?

You'd ignorantly point out Paul as a Tent maker to me, but you forgot that Paul became a Tent maker because he was in a House Arrest for two years, and in those two years he couldn't leave the house, hence; men went to him to hear the word, and he learned a common trade to assimilate himself with the natives.

When you people talk, know what you are saying.

Stop talking nonsense. Everyone who had a job dropped it as they accepted to follow Jesus. People contributed to their upkeep. Case in the point, the two times Jesus fed the crowd, was it with His money or He took from the people to fed Himself and others?

Other prophets were provided for too. Prophets don't work, their God feeds them by asking other men to talk provisions to them.

but he paid his tithes and tax to those in custody of the temple nd GOVT

Is a pastor not in itself, a day job?! You have blogging now becoming a job for many. Many are into web design- FULL TIME FROM HOME! He may not have an office, but he spends time with his bible, or in prayer, or ministering to someone etc... If he has something else for the time being, cool. If he does not, let him be!

If you feel like, dont give to your pastors or better still, encourage others not to do same. If God could use stingy crows to feed His servant, He can do anything to prove His callings!

Olodo..that was a distraction to Peter and the rest . Peter who was to be feeding the sheep abandoned the ministry . What did Jesus tell him that day ?

Pastors are basically unemployed.
