The state government has declared today work free day in honour of late former Vice President Alex Ekwueme. This is to enable workers in the state join the rest of Ndi Anambra in paying their last respect to the late elder statesman in a commendation service billed for the Dr Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka. A statement endorsed by the Commissioner for Information and Communication Strategy, Ogbuefi Tony Nnachetta, says markets and businesses in the state will also be closed. http://www.akelicious.com/2018/02/anambra-govt-declares-today-work-free.html
