People marry within their culture/tribe because they want a partner who`s on the same wavelength with them. It`s possible to transcend that and experience a good relationship wit someone who`s totally different from you. The major things u need here are open-mindedness and the readiness to accept/learn/exchange new ideas, beliefs and ways.
