The FBI expresses its “serious concerns“ about the veracity of a top-secret memo that Republicans threaten to publish as of Thursday. This text became in a few days a weapon to counter the open investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. It would tend to prove that the FBI is not neutral vis-a-vis the Trump administration.

According to the Republicans, this highly confidential note, whose exact content is not yet known, would highlight an anti-Trump bias within the FBI and the Justice Department. It is based on the tapping, considered abusive, of a former adviser to Donald Trump during the presidential campaign.
