Chief Ndukwe Iko is a former governorship aspirant and House of Representatives candidate in Abia State in the last general election. In this interview with CHIBUIKE CHUKWU, he spoke on the proposed cattle colonies, Olusegun Obasanjo’s letter to the president, and the problems of equation that could arise if Buhari fails to contest in 2019, among other issues. What is your impression of the activities of the Fulani herdsmen and the allegation that the issue is not properly addressed because President Buhari is a Fulani man?

I completely agreed to the fact that issue is not being properly addressed by the president because he is a Fulani man. I also believe that there is no northern president that will properly address the issue because of the sentiment of the north when it comes to culture and religion.
