A spiritual leader in India, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, has been charged for forcing more than 400 of his congregation to undergo castration in the bid to get closer to God. According to a report by the News Agency of Nigeria, he was charged by Central Bureau of Investigation. “The charge sheet against 50-year-old Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was filed by CBI in a special court Thursday,” a senior police official said Friday.
