Nigerian songstress, Yemi Alade has recorded a huge feat on the music scene with her BLACK MAGIC album which hit a whopping one million streams on Spotify within just one month of release. That’s such a mega achievement for her!!!

Some music analysts were of the opinion that Yemi Alade is only but one of those Nigerian female celebrities who is barely managing to keep her musical affairs going, unlike Tiwa Savage who is obviously holding the country down with her “Doro” sound. But the self-proclaimed Mama Africa has debunked such belief by living up to her name.

She recently called out her female colleagues over pride and petty-mindedness, saying Nigerian female artistes would have mounted great heights like their male counterparts if not for their pettiness in reasoning. When she made the statement, many referred to her as belonging to the same category she called out. But Yemi has proved them wrong.

The star took to IG to announce her new achievement to the world. She wrote; “Thank you for 1 million streams on Black Magic on @spotify in less than one month.” So, folks who think she barely managing may have to think again!!!
