Good morning! Here is today’s summary from Nigerian Newspapers 1. The Northern Elders Forum (NEF), has slammed Former President Olusegun Obasanjo for condemning the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government despite his failures as president of Nigeria. The Spokesperson of the NEF, Prof Ango Abdullahi described Obasanjo’s recent statement on Buhari and his criticism of the All progressives Congress government as a shame to the ex-president who once sought third term, yet parading himself as ‘holy father’ of Nigeria. 2. Lt. General Tukur Buratai, Army Chief of Staff, Friday, said that the Nigerian Army would soon deploy personnel to various parts of the country to contend ongoing threat to security in the country. He said the Operation Python Dance III in the South East, Operation Crocodile Smile III in the Niger Delta and South West and Harbin Kunama III in the North will commence again to contend cattle rustling in that part of the country. 3. The National President, Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Bello Abdullahi Bodejo (Lamido Fulbe) has revealed that politicians are the ones buying arms for Fulani herdsmen. Bodejo said that what was happening in various parts of the country as regarding the killings and destruction of properties have been politicized.
