While schooling

While it is always easier for students to combine academics and fun, it is also advisable to combine studies and entrepreneurship as it will be more rewarding.

When unemployed

When people are jobless, they usually face hard time, it’s a period that things are tough and also a period when someone’s intelligence is put to test. Entrepreneurship requires providing and selling solutions that represent convenience at its best. Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba applied for more than 30 jobs including KFC and was rejected until he started China Yellow pages and then Alibaba. While job hunting, one should not write off the idea of starting a business, who knows? You might be better off running your own business.

While you are gainfully employed

As bad as it sounds, side hustle is a great option which can prevent the trauma and hardship that come with job loss or working on a job that one derives no fulfillment. Russel Simmons and Jeremy Stoppelman founded Yelp while working at Paypal. Yelp is a multi-billion dollar company and has continued to wax stronger since it was founded in 2004.

When you are retired

When one finally exit the 9-5 life and there is still some energy and zeal to work, entrepreneurship is a good option.
