Overtime, several popular Nigerian pastors have seen themselves transform from what they looked like when they were very much younger and of course before the fame and money. We are used to seeing them chubby and fashionably dressed but it wasn’t always so.

When you stumble on really old pictures of some Nigerian pastors, you can’t help but marvel at the work of God in their life. this is the before and after pictures of some of your favourite Nigerian pastors that will make you smile, laugh or get inspired.
These pictures will tell you two things. One, all these people you admire today were not as adorable and good looking when growing up. Secondly, hard work pays.

1. Pastor E.A. Adeboye: He is the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. He took over from Papa Akindayomi who had died the previous year, in 1981. He is married to Foluke Adeboye, who is also a pastor, and they are blessed with four children.

2. Pastor W.F. Kumuyi: He is the founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church. While serving as Math Lecturer at The University of Lagos in 1973, he started a Bible study group with 15 university students who had come to him requesting training in the scriptures. The small group later grew to thousands, at which time the Deeper Life Bible Church was formally established. He remarried in October 2010 in London, about 18 months after the death of his first wife.

3. Bishop Oyedepo: He is the founder and presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church World Wide, also known as Winners' Chapel. He is one of the richest Pastor in Nigeria and the world. This prosperous man of God has several private jets and a host of investments. He is married to Faith Abiola and their union has produced four children.

4. Pastor Chris Okotie: He is the pastor of the Household of God Church International Ministries, located in Lagos. He contested for the post of president in 2003, 2007 and 2011 and lost. 5. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome: He is the founding president of Believers' Loveworld Incorporated, also known as Christ Embassy, with its headquarters in Lagos. He is one of the richest pastors in the world. His marriage to Anita crashed in 2014.

6. T.B. Joshua: He is the leader and founder of the Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), located in Lagos. He has been listed as one of the richest in the world. This man of God is known for his miracles and prophecies worldwide. He always claims to have predicted any tragedy whenever it occurs.

7. Mike Bamiloye: He is an evangelist and founder of Mount Zion Faith Drama Ministry. He has featured, produced and directed several movies over the years. He is married to Gloria Bamiloye. After looking at these photos you have to thank God for progress.
