According to a report shared by an online user, the sovereign God healed a mad man who has been in the chains of mental insanity for 5years on Saturday 3rd of February during street evangelism by RCF(Redeemed Christian Fellowship) members along Poly Express Road, precisely Ikosi junction, Ilaro, Ogun State. The power of the Lord was so evident as he knelt down at the mention of His name.

After the young man gained his sanity and consciousness back, he was asked his name and he answered "Taiwo'.His clothes were changed, barbed off his hair and he could even point to the direction of his home which he has left 5 years back. Glory to Jesus! God is doing something greater at RCF Ilaro Chapter.

Hallelujah he has done it! What no man cannot do our God has done it! After how many prayers and seed sowing in over 50,000 churches in Nigeria still Nigeria is now the country with the poorest people in the world even poorer than people that worship cows and goat. Yes! Glory isn't our God good?! Oh yes I guess Nigerian Christians don't have enough faith or is it end time things?!

Dressing up a mad man does not mean he has been healed, it would have been much better if they took him to psychciatric hospital for a gradual healing

People have a poor understanding of what ‘madness’ actually is. They think madness is something like a demon that descends on you in a moment and takes over your body while keeping you unconscious. So when a ‘’mad’ person is looking a bit sober and responding to questions somewhat coherently, they think he has been “healed”.

‘Mad’ people are just mentally ill people who have been abandoned by their families. They have good days and bad days but they are always dirty because they don’t have homes in which to take their baths and wash their clothes. They don’t have money to buy new clothes and get haircuts. They talk to themselves either because they hear voices that are not there or because they are intensely lonely because no one talks to them.

My point is that mental illness symptoms often come and go, so there are times when ‘mad’ people are really irrational and weird in their behavior, talking loudly to themselves and fighting with real or imaginary people for no reason, but there are other times when they are calm and relatively normal and if you talk to them they will respond like ‘normal’ people.

In this case, the man was said to have been healed because he could say his name and point to the direction of his family house, and because he looked alright after they changed his clothes and barbed his hair. Look, I’m glad that they took care of his hygiene but they should take care of his mental health too, by taking him to a psychiatric hospital and paying for his treatment. Otherwise, he’ll end up on the streets again when these holy people get tired of tolerating him.

Questions

1. If Mad Men are just mentally ill people who have been abandoned by their families how many have you taken in and cleaned up and at least made feel better (even remotely) as an atheist

2. If you think they simply thought he was healed because he could say his name and point to his house then you probably are not thinking straight. Who has bothered to come near the man to be of help all the 5 yrs he has been on the street all messed up. This happened in your state where you apparently live and it could be that you may have been one of those who walked past him minding your damn business once upon a time. Were you there to authoritatively counter and say that what they said is false?

3. This happened in your state of residence where you could easily get up and drive to just to prove your atheism is totally right by confirming that this ex madman is still mad and was never healed. Can you do that?

SOUND ADVICE

I advice that you read the below link from CNN. After you finish then tell me you know something Dr Richard Gallagher an Ivy League certified psychiatrist doesn't know.

I think logic should be add to the curriculum of the church. In our bid to gorify God with miracles we do things bereft of sound reasoning and push it down the throat of people expecting them to swallow it hook line and sinker.

This Man is just one of those unfortunate psychologically traumatized people who walk our street whose frustration has wane their mind down...

They are not mad as in the popular sense.

They only need attention and good psycho-therapy.

Scrape their hair, bath them buy food and drinks for them...and see the change begin....

Christianity should not make us loose our common sense.

thumbs ups Oga seun.

The way people reason ehn?
If its all about Picking up mad people and caring for them, why are there still mad people all over Nigeria?
When a native doctor does juju, they believe he has powers, but when Jesus performs miracles, they begin to reason it..
For all atheists doubting the power of God, my prayers for you is just One Encounter with Jesus. just ONE!

Another fake miracle. It seems this is what is in vogue now. Find an unkempt homeless guy then cut his hair and bath him and u have a miracle.

The only way I will believe this miracle is if the pastor finds a violent mad man, prays for him, cut his hair, bath him and takes him home. At home the healed man will have access to his kitchen where all the sharp objects are and also be give access to roam freely around to where the cutlass and other handy home tools are. angry angry

Look at this one thinking upsidedown.
The fact that there are a lot of mad people about town is proof that no one is getting healed. If they were getting healed your pastors should have healed all of them by now. What are they waiting for?

When a native doctor does juju, nobody with brains believe him. It is superstitious people like u that still go about claiming the juju exist. Your native doctors and pastors are all as useful as boobs on a man.

Maybe you should take a charity visit to Psychiatric Hospital or Ward 7 of any General Hospital, you will realize that you explanation is not correct description of mad person. I have visit the aforementioned and i can tell you that folk admitted their were just opposite of what you describe and still not well.

There are many factor that causes mental illness, and if those people are cured from such causes a mad person is made whole.

Please tell us everything you experienced. I'm eager to learn about what part of your experience at the psych ward contradicts what I said.

Could you give us a list of the factors causing mental illness, so that we can discuss them? Thanks.

If you leave your keyboard now and drive out, you'll definitely see one Mad person that is 'calm and relatively normal', take care of his hygiene and post the picture on this thread, If you cant do that, then i have the right to tell you shot up.
