THE ANNIHILATION OF THE ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF AUCHI POLYTECHNIC BY ENGR. ISAH ABDULAZEEZ


INTRODUCTION
The notorious and super-corrupt lieutenant of a corrupt General, Engr. Isah Abdulazeez, has a very long history of extorting money from innocent and unsuspecting students and causing disharmony in the entire institution, just like his principal, Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah (Tyrant).

2015 PANEL FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATION ON ISAH ABDULAZEEZ’s CORRUPT PRACTICES.
Isah Abdulazeez had in a petition, leveled allegation of “Subversion and Destruction of Academic Procedures” against Engr. Bola Obaitan , where a panel was set up immediately to ascertain the veracity or otherwise of his claims.

SOME OF THEIR MAJOR FINDINGS
1.”It was Engr. Isah Abdulazeez Watson who was actually contracting the project work to himself by collecting the sum of three thousand Naira (#3,000) from each student of a group of seven students so as to assist them write the thesis.

2. There was a case of delay in submitting the thesis as promised by Engr. Isah Abdulazeez Watson which kept the students in school till February 23rd, 2015”.

3. "The Department requested every lecturer to assemble computers by allocating students to them in 2012/2013 session. Isah assembled old computers and one of them his personal data that were earlier stored even before the allocation of the assignment. This compelled the department to stop giving out such project work.”

4.“It was discovered that Engr. Isah Abdulazeez was also collecting one thousand Naira (#1,000.00) from each student for assignment as testified by the Departmental lecturers.”

5. The way and manner Engr. Isah Abdulazeez Watson mutilated his score sheet and assigning 39/40 for course work and 1/60 for examination score to give a pass mark of 40/100 does not seem to be an academic practice.

During the second semester of 2013/2014 academic session, Isah examined ND2 arms A-C on a Course titled, Electronics II, code: EEC 234 in the Department of Electrical/Electronics Engineering, School of Evening Studies.

The following Students Scored 01,02, and 03 respectively in the examination but were awarded pass marks after extorting money from them in exchange for course work.

5 .Investigation from a cross section of the departmental staff revealed that the redeployment of Engr. Isah Abdulazeez from the Department of Computer Science to the to the department of Electrical/Electronics Engineering brought disharmony among members of academic staff.

B. PANEL’S CONCLUSION
Page four (4) of the said report concluded that there was no Subversion and Destruction of academic procedures by Engr. Bola Obaitan and that Engr.Isah Abdulazeez was aggrieved with Engr. Bola Obaitan over his refusal to allocate to him the number of project students required.

Ironically, Engr. Isah Abdulazeez was found guilty of most of the allegations he leveled against Engr. Bola Obaitan.

C. PANEL’S RECOMMENDATION
1. Engr. Bola Obaitan should be exonerated from all the allegations leveled against him by Isah Abdulazeez.

2. Engr. Isah Abdulazeez should be referred to the Guidance counseling Unit of the Centre Gender Studies for counseling on, human relationship in the line with paragraph B3.1 of the Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi Staff Manual of Administrative processes 2013.

HIS FINAL SUBMISSION
Engr. Abdulazeez Isah has held the Department in bondage for too long, since he was deployed into the department, the Department has never known peace. He has subverted and destroyed all academic standards and due process.

Isah Lacks academics culture and he is a virus that has corrupted some academic staff with his unchecked atrocities and disrespectful behaviours.
I therefore strongly appeal that he should be redeployed to his former department (Computer Science) or Estate and Works Department.

These Recommendations which would have led to Engr. Isah’s Unceremonious exit from the Department and the entire institution was immediately overwhelmed as he quickly teamed up with Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah and other lieutenants to unleash mayhem and total crisis on Auchi Polytechnic.

The Polytechnic knew no peace from march, 2015 due to the very indicting recommendations from the report dated march, 2015.

3. Engr. Isah Abdulazeez should be warned in writing to desist from un-academic behavior of collecting illegal fees from students.

4. Engr. Isah Abdulazeez should be redeployed to works and maintenance department of Auchi Polytechnic in line with the wish of the academic staff of the department if he fails to change after warning.

D. ENGR. C.I AWOLO’S TESTIMONY, GENERAL SUBMISSION ON ENGR. A. ISAH’S CORRUPT PRACTICE
1. Engr. Isah Abdulazeez pretends to be saint, whereas he is the Chief corrupt lecturer in the department as he collects Three thousand Naira (#3,000)each from students who were absent from his test.

2. He Jettison Technologist's Laboratory experiments marks and fabricate his own marks.

3. The absurd marks he awarded, the mutilated and large scale alteration of marks and grades in his result is a clear evidence to his nature of academic atrocity he (Engr. A. Isah ) usually commits with his students in both regular and evening students.

4. He subjects Students to unnecessary practical defense in his office and collects money from them. This is illegal as the practicals are outside the scope of his duties as a lecturer.

ENGR. ISAH SUDDENLY TURNED COMRADE
Engr. Isah Abdulazeez suddenly turned comrade through sponsorship by his principal, Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah as he was made the Caretaker Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), Auchi Polytechnic Chapter in 2016 under Engr. Jafaru Buraimoh (Acting Rector), as a compensation for his active involvement and mastermind of the violent crisis which led to the destruction of properties worth millions of Naira in the institution. All these were to destabilise management from implementing the recommendations of the March, 2015 panel report.

ENGR. JAFARU BURAIMOH’S ERA AS ACTING RECTOR
Records abound that Engr. Isah lost the ASUP Election to Engr. Justin Momodu during the Wee hours of Buraimoh’s Administration but his active role in the attack and threat to lives of F.U Balogun ,(then Dean School of Evening Studies) Mr. Patrick Owie (Bursar), S.O Shaka (CSO) and Dr.(Mrs). M.I Aashikpelokhai (Registrar), where the Bursar’s dogs were killed coupled with the shutting down of the Institution with another deadly protest for over five(5) weeks under the guise of Contiss 15 agitation between January to March, 2016 which eventually paved way for Jimah to become Acting Rector, after ousting Engr. Jafaru Buraimoh Unceremoniously using Union leaders, unsuspecting staff and community youths, who were immediately appointed into positions of responsibilities as compensation for acting out a well prepared script by their principal, Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah( The Tyrant).


JIMAH’S EMERGENCE AS ACTING RECTOR
Notorious and super-corrupt Engr. Isah Abdulazeez was immediately appointed the Head, Department of Electrical/Electronics Engineering amidst the indicting report and recommendations of March, 2015, that “Azeez is very unfit to be in the classroom.

He is indeed a corrupt lieutenant of a corrupt General, Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah (The Tyrant).

Whereas those who have not done up to 5% of what Isah Abdulazeez Watson has done and still doing are being suspended, dismissed, warned, demoted, redeployed or terminated, he Abdulazeez is having his stinking and sinking image, like that of his principal, covered, deodorized and tolerated.

Auchi Polytechnic is indeed “An Animal farm and Centre for Monumental Fraud”. All animal are indeed not equal; just as Dr. (Mrs). K.Q. Jimah(Acting Rector's wife), whom the NBTE accredited team during the 2017 accreditation exercise in Auchi Polytechnic, recommended as “unqualified “ to teach in the department of Electrical/Electronics Engineering, has undermined and disrespected such recommendation by allocating courses to her which she now secretly teach at the Polytechnic secondary school, where she originally belongs.

CONCLUSION
This is for the information of the relevant stakeholders in the Education Sector, the anti-graft agencies, the Law Enforcement Agencies and the general public to as a matter of urgency save Auchi Polytechnic from sinking further.

OUR FERVENT PRAYERS
(1.) The Ministry of Education should request for the comprehensive copy of the 2015 panel report and ensure that Engr. Isah Abdulazeez is shown the way out of classroom as recommended.
2. A high-powered panel of investigation should be set up by the ministry to sanitize the Department of Electrical/Electronics Engineering as Jimah( The Tyrant) is aiding and abetting corruption in therein.

3. The ministry should be very objective and thorough by allowing the academic staff of the department to be very free to submit memoranda.

4. The Ministry of education should send Mrs. K.Q Jimah back to the polytechnic secondary school and charge Jimah for disrespecting the recommendations of NBTE and other constituted authorities.
