Unemployment is a big issue here in Nigeria. The frustration and wastage of our youths is alarming. The unemployment issue is due to the greed of our politicians, those "in high positions" eg. Lecturers, Union leaders etc. and the citizens themselves.

Why should a first class engineering graduate in a sane country work in the bank, start a business just to get by or start a dry cleaning business? It happens here in Nigeria. Is this what we want? Is this right? What responsible government ignores creating jobs and various organisations to provide a platform for graduates and youths to display their talents and expertise they have acquired in school? Whether we like it or not, the government is supposed to be the major player is job creation. After that we can talk of business minded individuals.

Instead of youths to rebel, protest and physically harm these leaders, who loot and descend rot on this country, you see them foolishly joining the band wagon and shouting "go learn a skill," "youths should have entrepreneurship skills," etc. like seriously? Do you think that is the solution? Do you think everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur? Imagine if Albert Einstein was a Nigerian and he was advised to take up entrepreneurship after school - - - - do you see how misplaced this is? Imagine if a Bobby Fischer was asked to look for "something" to start doing? Foolish youths!

I get angry when people open their mouths and say "start a business", "start something no matter how small " etc. nonsense, is this what you people have become? People are now satisfied and see it as a norm to dabble into petty low paying trades to get by after and instead of seeing something wrong, they say "god bless my hustle" . They even delude themselves thinking God will elevate them---- God wey no exist. People like this are the cause of their problems. Why not stand up to your leaders and take things into your own hands instead of drowning in the foolishness of "it is well, it's in God's hands", "God will make a way", "God bless my hustle", etc. stay there be doing god while your leaders bleeped the hell out of you and your descendants' destiny. Don't mind those saying "start something", "create a job" as if it's something you can pick our of the pocket like that.

Situation in this country should not make us look down on education, education is important and having a first class is a honourable thing. Don't mind those illiterate who later became rich via trading tell you that education is a waste of time because they think money is everything or just to feel better about themselves meanwhile they wish they had education. Don't mind the 3rd class graduates who tell you "who first class epp?", they are jealous and trying to make themselves feel better. They are even happy when first class graduates are jobless. Education and excellent is important Jare. Youths abeg wake up and fight for a better Nigeria.
