You got it. FG should just supply steady light. How many hrs of diesel can you burn on lister. I had to service all my air conditioners though they are still less that 2yrs old because the weather has defied fan and if your AC is not working well it will defy it too.

My dear, last night was the hottest I had ever experienced in my life. There was no light and I fanned myself all through the night to avoid heat stroke

Dear Lord, we are very sorry for saying "Man's Not Hot" Father Lord, man's very hot, we've taken off our jackets to show man's very hot ... Forget the fact that we said "Man Can Never Be Hot" and reduce the heat for us PLEASE

WE SINCERELY APOLOGIZE FOR THE INTENSE HEAT ALL OVER THE WORLD.
THIS IS DUE TO THE GENERAL MAINTENANCE GOING ON IN HELL FIRE.
THIS MAINTENANCE IS IMPERATIVE TO ACCOMMODATE MORE NIGERIAN POLITICIANS THAT WILL BE KILLED DURNING THE COMING ELECTIONS.
WE SINCERELY REGRET ANY INCONVENIENCES THIS MAY HAVE CAUSED.

This is so dumb on so many levels. Nigeria is big enough to have specific information for at least the state level. They can't even tell us the days that will be hot in each state etc. So we should just guess abi.

We now have private distribution companies, as well as transmission companies, , generating companies are also privatised or public private enterprises.

Bottom line ,don't blame the Government for everything, you too can go out and do something.
If there is no electricity, apply for a license to generate and sell and stop complaining.

This is confusing.. If I don't blame the Government, who then should I blame?
Took the pleasure to peruse the internet incase I had missed something as to why I shouldn't "blame the Government" and it looks like the govt understands fully well their responsibility towards this quagmire. They know that they are the problem, they keep promising to fix this damn problem but they never get around to doing that.
So, in case you have a novel idea plus the capital to get us out of this pit, then educate yourself on what's on ground and quit typing nonsense.

They truth is both the populace and government officials are confused.
The number one function of the government is making policies, laws and enforcing it, we have to come out and ask ourselves whether, we are a capitalist, communist or socialist country.
Government is meant to collect tax, rates and levies, but should keep their hands of tradingbof services.

I agree with this but sadly, our government officials are never happy until they have their hands deep in every parastatal that yields good money.

The truth is we blame too much.
The system is bad because bad people are in the system, and this bad people are Nigerians like me and you.
Ignits majorly bad people we can produce tobrun our organizations, then we have a serious problem.
I try to motivate people to do the right thing (,as am typing this I just refused a gift of 2k ) from a junior colleague.

We can either step out and do the right thing or sit back and complain.
