Heaven: The Capital of Mount Zion, The Earth of the Gods.

Hebrews 12
[22]But rather, you have come to Mount Zion, even to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to countless multitudes of angels in festal gathering..., (AMP).

In the above portion of scripture, the writer tries to educate his readers/listeners of their spiritual position in Christ. He says they are now in Mount Zion, EVEN to the city of the living God, THE HEAVENLY JERUSALEM...

His Allegory:
He likens where they are in God's kingdom to the earthly city of Jerusalem, the then splendid capital of ancient Israel.

Quick question:
Now, going by the writer's account, does it translate that Mount Zion is the living city of God?

Heaven, the Omitted Word:
Hebrews 9
[24]For Christ (the Messiah) has not entered into a sanctuary made with [human] hands, only a copy and pattern and type of the true one, but [He has entered] into HEAVEN itself, now to appear in the [very] presence of God on our behalf.

The above portion let's us know the present location of Jesus Christ. It says He's in Heaven; and we know that where He sits, is where the Father also sits thus, Heaven is actually that city the writer likened to Jerusalem, not Mount Zion. It was the omitted word in that portion of scripture. And just like Jerusalem was the capital of Israel, so is Heaven the capital of Mount Zion.
