The United States is at the bedside of Côte d'Ivoire in the fight against terrorism. The Americans sent three trainers from the federal police and the anti-drug agency to Abidjan. The instructors share their know-how with the Ivorian security forces. A training in two phases: the first started at the beginning of the week, the second will be held for another fifteen days next month.
This is the first time that the very famous US agencies of federal investigators and the fight against drugs offer their expertise to Côte d'Ivoire. About fifty Ivorian police and gendarmes will benefit from the different techniques of investigation and prevention of attacks against vulnerable targets.
