GOVERNOR SERIAKE DICKSON RECEIVES LETTER OF AWARD AS THE "GOVERNOR OF THE YEAR" BY VANGUARD NEWS PAPER. The Chairman of vanguard news paper has today, 10th 2018, handed over a letter of award as the "GOVERNOR OF THE YEAR" to the Governor of Bayelsa State, Honourable Seriake Dickson in Government House.Yenagoa. The Chairman said, the award was accorded the Governor after a regorious process of selection, looking at all the set out guidelines of management. He averred that the governor was selected in recognition of his developmental drive in the State despite the terrain, which has often been used as an excuse for the lack of development in the state and region. He added that the Governor's prudence, transparency and accountability in the management of the state's finances inspired the management to consider him for such a prestigious award
