A retail clerk with the Join Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), who claimed that an ‘unidentified spiritual snake’ had ingested the sum of N36 million realized from the sales of scratch cards, would be held responsible for the missing money.
Philomina Chieshe had reportedly told auditors that the sum of N36 generated from the scratch card in the Makurdi office was stolen using a mysterious snake.
A senior official with the board said investigators have neither seen the snake in question nor established evidence that a strange snake had lurk around the crime scene as such Chieshe may be held accountable for the missing money.

Those concerned claim it was a mysterious snake and never admitted it was physical. This revelation came up during an audit of accounts of the said JAMB office in Benue state for the period 2010 to 2016. Most of the said missing money swallowed by the said mysterious snake happened in and around 2010 to 2015 under the previous administration.
