The land Dispute tension in AROUGBA COMMUNITY in Oredo Local Government area of Edo State over leadership of power started on November 23, 2014. the crisis started when the elders and the Family of Edionwe in Arougba community wanted to remove Mr Wilfred Ayemekhue from the CDA chairman possition which he refuse. Mr Wilfred was said to have approach high court which allegedlly upturned the elders elections and the elders Revoted him for another four year.

It was further gather that this re-election by the elders for Mr Wilfred Ayemekhue to become the Community chairman for another four years in the community was not accepted by Mr Edionwe Family and his gang members. so, because of this reason the battle started in the community and many house and cars was burnt down. one person was said to have been killed in the clash. many idigenes of the community have fled to other places for safety. the police commisioner of edo state Mr Foluso Adebanjo confirmed the tragic incident and have arrested some persons along with the violence and several are still wanted. it has been said by some eye withness in the area that Edionwe Kennedy and his cult gang group who were identity as Etiosa Omoruyi, Igbinosa Kelvin,Amalawa Roland were the people that eliminated Mr Goodluck Uwumahongie and cut off his head because of the land dispute. this tragic incident happened on January 27 2015 in about 5.30am. the police interogating unit have been investigating this crime case since the early begining and several people has been arrested. these people which their names and pictures are shown here have been decleared wanted by the Nigerian Police for the death of Mr Goodluck Uwumahongie and who ever see them should kindly contact Area Command Sapele Road Oredo Quarters Edo State or call the IPO of this case on 08054512655.
