I thought buhari's ass licker Yahaya Brlko was boasting that the reordered sequence will just prove how truly popular each candidate is on his/her own personal credibility, so why the fuss from buhari's foot zombies?. |

I dont think Saraki is fulfiling any condition to be accepted by PDP. He is a big fish and will be accepted anyday. It could be his own way of getting back at the executive for all the assault on him using the CCB. But on the other hand, whats the fuse of the presidential election coming first or last if our people are honest to themselves? LordAdam16: 1 Like 1 Share |

IkpuNnu:Well, even if Buhari vetoes the bill, the NASS would override his veto if a 2/3 majority vote so. Realistically, it’s only a court that can quash the bill (or soon to be law). |

Its high time we realize all these things and strive to ensure we get it right. 1 Like |

The National Assembly is progressing in error. why? Instead of changing the order of election which will not see the light of day at the supreme court, they should first remove appointment of INEC Chairman from d control of the executive and add the clause the powers of the NA to change the order of election or override the order of that of INEC. 4 Likes |

LordAdam16:Funny you that can use your head. The federal government will challenge it from the lower courts to the supreme court and you know how many years that will take? Buhari will even leave office and that law will still be going up and down from one court to another. And you think that with the attorney general of the federation under the executive that the court will favour the senate? Keep dreaming. 2019 election will come and go and this case will still be in court. You think the legislative arm can hold ground with the executive? 2 Likes |

LordAdam16:Chairman,buhari will remain till 2023 while you join gej in otuoke.its not an electoral case so it will not be expedited.the act is inferior to the constitution which gives inec the power to fix election timetables. |
Re: Senate Passes Reordered 2019 Poll Bill, 59 Senators Oppose Move by senatordave1(m): 12:00am On Feb 15, 2018 |

Re: Senate Passes Reordered 2019 Poll Bill, 59 Senators Oppose Move by LordAdam16: 12:15am On Feb 15, 2018 |
senatordave1: Oga, I don't care who wins in 2019. And I deal on facts. The last one in 2012 was expedited. And unlike 2012, the act has been fixed to take out the explicit directive that INEC sets the date. And since it's open to interpretation, the Judiciary would very likely side with the Legislative. Let's all observe how it goes. -Lord 1 Like |

LordAdam16:In 2015,the ruling favoured the presidency i guess.the judiciary can also rule in favour of the executive since its 50/50.the constitution gives inec the power tl fix timetables not nass.nass can as we fix and conduct election. |
