The British expanding their propaganda machine deeper into Africa.

Edit

For all of you thinking my comment above is sore grapes, it is not
I am not talking of this just because its BBC ibo. With BBC English hausa, Igbo and yoruba beaming into Nigeria the British have the potential to reach 80% of our population. If they don't like our president for example, say over his gay/lesbian stance, they can begin to bombard us with negative messages and hence can have an unseen influence on our collective decision such as during elections. It's a known fact.

When Americans and Co complain about Russia meddling in their elections, I just laugh. Its 1000 times worse what they do to others especially using such soft power and media.

There is no free lunch. They are not spending huge money to set up studios, employ people and editors because they like Nigeria. Before you clap, look at the big picture.

Good news provided that they would not be hanging their radios on their shoulders or having their small radios glued to their ears like the Northerners for BBC news.

and we think that this can add to our economy. This is BBC and they do not pay taxes here. Are we not ashamed that we celebrating the British for publishing news in our own languages?

Nairaland never reach to day host forum for igbos? una day busy day advertise oyibo man business. there are many Nigerian entrepreneurs in the business section here who need free front page adverts. if person advertise him business una go block the person. Are they now asking the igbos to populate a british website to create more revenue for them? this change suppose start from us oh.

go to business section here on Nairaland and our brothers hardly get front page advert. help us to help ourselves. make this complex stop. if e better for me na still the econmy e go circulate.

let us challenge NTA and our local media to support us and our culture not oyibo.
