Man was like animals albeit a higher animal with just instinct to obey given directives, flow with nature and appreciate love and return loyalty

However, eating the proverbial "forbidden fruit" gave man Freewill to make its own decisions.
Therefore man no longer was just a higher animal, he became a lower god
