Confusion in PDP over “missing” N3b

THE National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Vincent Ogbulafor was at the Presidential Villa, Abuja yesterday for a closed door meeting with Acting President, Goodluck Jonathan to brief  him on recent events in the party.
It was also gathered yesterday that confusion seems to be rearing its head at the National Secretariat of the party over  the missing  N 3 billion naira said to have been left behind by the previous administration of the party.Ahead of  the National Executive Committee, NEC meeting slated for next week Tuesday, 27 April, 2010, the leadership of the party would need to meet with Acting President Jonathan who is the leader of the party on arrangements as well as other salient issues in the party.

It would be recalled that the National Working Committee, NWC of the party had on Thursday suspended former Senate Presidents, Ken Nnamani, Adolphus Wabara, Ex-Speaker Bello Masari and the immediate past National Secretary of the party, Bernard Eze following what the party termed anti-party activities.
